City of Jackson, Board of Zoning Appeals has scheduled a second meeting for Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 5:30pm at the Council Chambers on Portsmouth Street.
This meeting is open to the public to discuss zoning regulations/criteria for operating a home business within the City of Jackson within Zone 3, specifically Chestnut Street, specifically, Chapter 2 zoning district regulations, section R-3 and Chapter IV Supplementary Regulations page IV-29 Section D - Regulations of Home Occupations, for purpose of allowing a variance to the residence by way of conducting business in an unattached structure on the property.
PUBLIC NOTICE: The entrance to Hammertown lake from Pleasant Grove Rd. is closed until further notice, due to the terrain and heavily shaded areas the road becomes very unsafe for motorists during inclement weather. The lake is still accessible from Hammertown Lake Rd as well as Beaver Pike. We also want to remind everyone that we all have to protect this beautiful asset. Please utilize all trash receptacles and keep your vehicles on the public roadway at all times.
